Today we had presentations about what Pinky has been doing this week

one of my students her name is Asma told them how pinky enjoyed talking to the ducks, goats and the other animals, and she says that pinky told the animals that she loves them

well, this is just the beginning and pinky will have more fun with the students the coming next weeks

Journalism team

Since last week and until today, I meet with my jounalism students

I take them to the principle office where there is a net connection and we log to iEARN, this is was their first time to take an online course and they are very excited, they got their assignment ready and they got to excited when they got a right answer in their first quiz. Well, tomorrow is another week and yes I forgot to send them what they are supposed to do

Hello everyone

How was your day?

Had a good day at school?

Today I am not in my best mood.. I am going on the dark side abit,

don't worry, I will be smiling and shinning again

so, should I introduce myself, I am a teacher

yes! that's how I like to introduce myself, after my name ofcourse, and I don't mean showing off

I remember when I was in NY, visiting my iEARN best friend and mentor, Lynn Rosen,

whenever she introduced us, she would introduce Fatma my friend who went with me she would

say " Fatma Al Mamaari. an English teacher and former fulbrighter, and she would look at me

and I would say " Asma, just an English teacher"

well, I love to be a teacher

and I would do anything to improve myself so I can be a better teacher for my students

that's why I took this course and why I became an iEARNer at the first place

Journalism can open many doors for the young minds to think beyond the news itself

to put their voice and hopefully someone would listen

everyone, if you have a dream don't wait, go and reach it, your day is today and your mountain

is waiting so go and climb it,, it is the climb that's makes the difference

somepeople, stand at the bottom afraid to try and others just get in their way and it doesn't

matter how many times you fail, you just keep trying, until you reach the top but remember it

never ends there
